IREKS NORTH AMERICA was the talk of the town as we took the ART of the booth to a whole new level. One of the most photographed booths of the event, we had customers in awe of the beauty and simplicity of the calendar bread theme on full display at booth 703.

The Bakery Showcase was held in the fabulous city of Montreal on May 5 and 6th 2019 at the Palais du Congrès. The 50,000 sq ft, two day event is the only bakery industry event held annually in Canada and showcases the latest in ingredients and equipment for bakers of all levels. The attendance certainly reflected a wide range of businesses. While the first days of spring may have kept some audiences away, our top flight team, led by our President Maurice Van Tongeren, Director of Sales Jason Gray and Technical Advisor Jan Dokter, put together a booth that captures the essence of IREKS, highlighting our capabilities as a world leader in Malts, Sourdoughs and Gluten Free from Germany. Coupled with our North American expertise that offers a great range of bases, mixes, and custom blending, IREKS NORTH AMERICA is steadily making a statement to the bakery industry.

Highlighted by our latest acquisition, Julien Catala, the new Technical Sales Manager for the Quebec region, we were witness to French charm at its finest and he was able to engage dozens of customers and demonstrate the value of what IREKS can offer the Canadian and most especially the Quebec artisan baking world.

The Bakery Showcase will return to Toronto on April 26 and 27th 2020 where the show is expected to be doubled in size and participation. We are already preparing ourselves to show the market we are one of the industry leaders, bringing German Quality … Made for Canada!
