Our first customer trip to Kulmbach lies behind us and has proven a valuable experience for everybody who took part. From 28 June to 02 July, we not only enjoyed tremendous weather but also a host of activities concerning IREKS including its product portfolio and way of working as well as the beautiful area of Franconia. Looking at our customers, we were a mixed group from local bakery businesses via distributors through to industrial clients, all interested in an inside look regarding what IREKS has to offer as a partner.
The participants experienced an action-packed four days including trips around various popular Franconian cities such as Bamberg and Würzburg. Our guests were able to get a taste of it all: the well-known tradition of “Bier and Bratwurst” as well as the inspiring history of bread culture. Another highlight were the various company tours at our IREKS headquarters in Kulmbach, showcasing the capabilities IREKS provides towards enhancing and improving baking businesses today and in future. Additionally, the team of Master Bakers presented the gluten-free range as well as a selection of Aroma and Taste products and the many options we can offer to the confectionery baked products sector. Steeped in over 160 years of history in the town of Kulmbach, our excursion with the nightwatchman brought us to the doorstep of the very first IREKS bakery of 1856.
Competence, continuity and partnership are the three pillars of our company philosophy, which is why it makes us proud to have been able to demonstrate their direct influence on our work firsthand during our trip. This wouldn’t have been possible without our wonderful guests – thank you for taking the time and being a part of the inaugural visit, which hopefully gave you some lasting memories to share!
